Brackenridge Build

Commercial contractor & civil engineer, Leeds · 2026

The problem

Commercial contractors are chosen on whether the work looks like yours. That makes the project case study the whole site, and most contractor sites give it a thumbnail and a paragraph.

What we built

  • Four expertise pages and four project case studies generated from one data file, plus eleven written by hand
  • Rails with a fixed track width rather than minmax(0, …), so they stay rails instead of silently collapsing into four small tiles
  • A spectrum rule and hatched eyebrow marks drawn in CSS, hidden from assistive tech
  • A strict Content-Security-Policy and immutable caching on assets

Where it landed

Zero axe violations, CLS 0.000, no overflow at 375, 768 or 1440, and no broken links — on a site with no framework and no build dependencies beyond Node.
