The problem
A one-person decorating business has no budget for a system and no need for one. What it needs is to not look like the other eleven decorators in Shrewsbury, all using the same directory template.
What we built
- A hero built around a colour swatch, because choosing colours is the actual service
- A gallery separating decorating from mural work, which are two different sells
- A coverage line naming the towns, because that is the search
- A booking form posting to an inbox, with the call route given equal weight
Where it landed
The lower bound of the set, deliberately. Not every business needs a build with a data layer, and pretending otherwise is how agencies sell work nobody needed.
